The aim was not just to give a modern feel to the website, with a carousel on the homepage featuring key highlights, but also creating passenger and corporate sections of the website, thereby making clear distinctions between links that are relevant to passengers. The most important links, like finding flight statuses, shop and restaurant lists, parking and maps are featured on the homepage, so the user can easily be guided.
The Atlanta airport website is outdated not just in terms of aesthetic appeal, but it provides very poor user experience. Users find it difficult to navigate the site as the menu is a jumble of links which provide no actual use to passengers, assuming they are the main users of the site.
